Time to say Thank You and close the chapter on our time as Historic Dockers here in Dania Beach.
In 2014 we purchased the shuttered spot that had served as a local mainstay for decades, breathing new life into it.

By 2019’s end it had risen to be more successful and iconic than ever, serving over 100,000 guests that year. In the first few months of 2020 “the dock” was rocking and headed to break more records.

We don’t need to say much to explain what happened next, but the net result is a bridge too far for us to reproduce the success we had. Now, add the overheated real estate market, seemingly the next threat to any future operations at the Cozy Cove location.

Restaurant businesses are a complex series of tasks that if successful result in creating a unique environment that give comfort, joy, socializing opportunity, employment and a general respite from the days grind.

We were lucky and happy to create that spot in Dania, entertaining so many like we do at Historic Downtowner in Fort Lauderdale

So, it’s time to say Thank You and Goodbye to all the staff, family and friends that made Dockers a great place.

Historic Dockers will cease current operations effective January 9th, 2022. Business disruptions associated with various covid-related issues and strife, along with a lack of adequate staffing availability, brought about our decision to temporarily cease operations.
We will look at new concepts that offer a fun ambience to go along with our commitment to great food and service. Please stay tuned for further announcements as plans develop.
Thanks to all our friends, neighbors, and visitors who helped make Dockers a great choice in Dania Beach. And please visit us at the Downtowner...just 4 miles away.
