Ever wonder where the name Wini’s came from? 🤔

I chose her name after my mom, Dala Seymour. It’s what my dad called her. It’s short for her middle name (Winifred). 🥰

She was so talented at any and everything she put her hand to. She loved to cook and bake, and could do absolutely anything with or without a recipe. She started to cater events for people, weddings, baby showers, engagement parties, if there was an occasion she would do it and I always got roped into helping. 😜

I had tossed around the idea of a mobile bar for several years but after I lost my mom in November 2020, it became more than just an idea. I set out to find the perfect trailer to be converted. Once the trailer was under construction, I knew I needed a name for her, and I knew that it had to have something to do with my mom. I had several names, tons of input from friends and family but nothing seemed to be the “name”.

One day, Wini came to mind so I called my sister, chatted with her to make sure she was completely on board with me using mom’s name for my bar, and she thought it was perfect and so Wini’s was born.

I know she would be so excited about something like this because it’s very similar to her time spent catering, doing something she loved, but also helping make someone’s event a little more special. ❤️

Here is the note that the name and logo came from. Mom left my dad a note so many years ago and it hung on my mom’s fridge for at least 15 or more years. Wini’s logo is her handwriting.
