We will post when we will be able to restart karaoke in the future. House Rules:
1. Karaoke begins at 8 p.m. Song s
lips are available in the bar area. You are NOT required to sing karaoke to enjoy karaoke nights. We understand that people may be scared and not wanting to sing or would prefer to watch karaoke and we want to be respectful of everyone's wishes.
2. Due to liquor board and this restaurant being part bar on Thursday nights during karaoke, no one under 21 is allowed to sit in the section of the restaurant right next to the bar front. Anyone under 21 is still allowed to sing karaoke and be involved but must sing from the stairs near the bar area. They can't be inside the bar area signing.
3. Please keep all music family friendly from 8 to 10 p.m. because we are a family friendly restaurant until 10 p.m. This applies to all costumes as well since we can't predict who will attend our events and we would not want a parent mad about what someone is wearing. After 10 p.m., any songs are allowed except songs with excessive language or anything deemed inappropriate by the restaurant staff.
4. No videotaping or photography without permission of the singer unless it is restaurant staff.
5. No one can go behind the bar front except restaurant and karaoke staff.
6. Please be respectful of everyone doing karaoke or being involved with the venue. It takes a lot of courage for someone to sing karaoke and we don't want to make it a negative experience since someone is being rude or inappropriate. If someone says no, please respect their wishes. If you continue to violate the rules, you will be asked to leave.
7. No alcohol outside of the restaurant and please do not bring any drinks or alcohol into the building. If you are caught you will be asked to take the drink out of the restaurant if it was not bought here and if it is from here you will be asked to bring it back. This is Maryland state law.
8. Please park in the El Jinete Parking lot. If you park in the pawn shop lot or adjacent lots, we are not responsible if you are towed. Any questions, please speak to Corey or Oscar. Thank you.
