📡⚡ CQ CQ Cullman! ⚡📡

Ever wondered what all those antennas are for? Curious about ham radio? Or maybe you just want an excuse to hang out by the lake and talk to people across the country (or the world!) without using Wi-Fi? 😄

Join the Cullman Amateur Radio Club – N4TUN for ARRL Field Day 2025 at Veteran’s Memorial Park at Sportsman Lake on June 27–28!

🕐 Begins at 1 PM Saturday
📍 Veteran’s Memorial Park at Sportsman Lake
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Come see live amateur radio stations in action as operators make contacts across the U.S. and beyond using emergency-style portable setups. This is one of the biggest ham radio events of the year!

🎙️ NEW THIS YEAR:
We’ll have a “Get On The Air” station for unlicensed visitors who want to try ham radio for themselves! That’s right — you can actually get on the radio and make a contact with the help of licensed operators.

What you’ll find:
✅ Radios, antennas, and portable setups
✅ Emergency communications demonstrations
✅ Friendly radio operators happy to answer questions
✅ A chance to try ham radio yourself
✅ Plenty of stories, laughs, and probably a few tangled wires 😆

Whether you’re a longtime ham, scanner enthusiast, prepper, tech geek, or someone who still remembers CB radios from the 70s — there’s something here for you.

Bring the family, bring a lawn chair, and come see why amateur radio is still one of the coolest hobbies on the planet.
