Here we go!
Some of you may have already noticed that Milton’s has a brand-new website https://miltonsvvb.com and now we have our own ordering app, too! (ordering app can be downloaded from our website on your phone).

Our new website is your main place for everything Milton’s—online ordering, reservations, catering requests, questions and more. You can order right through the website, or if you’re a regular, download the Milton’s ordering app to your phone for quick and easy access whenever you’re ready to order.

As with anything new, we’re still learning as we go, so you may see some changes and adjustments along the way. If you have a few minutes to look around, I’d love to hear what you like, what you’re having trouble finding or what we could make easier. Your feedback really does help!

And yes, there’s more coming—including a new way to earn points and redeem rewards for meals, birthdays and more. We’re still working through how to incorporate points for in-house dining, but you will absolutely be included. We want you earning points whether you order online or dine with us.

For now, just for signing up, you’ll automatically receive 100 points. Sign up this week through Saturday and we’ll add another 100 bonus points—no purchase necessary. That’s 200 points just for signing up!

We gave our limited menu a try on July 4th — our breakfast burritos, lemon ricotta pancakes, and buttermilk pancakes have all been incredibly well received. The lemon ricotta pancakes have become such a favorite that they sell out before the end of the day. We're working on a system that will let us prepare more of the components ahead of time so we can mix fresh batches throughout the day. One thing we've learned: it takes a lot of lemon zest to keep up with demand!

We're also working on another breakfast offering that I'm especially excited about. It's the avocado grilled toast topped with lentils and salsa macha from my favorite spot in Mexico - Vaiven's. They generously shared the recipe with me, and I'm so grateful because it's one of my favorite breakfasts. I made it this morning and am hoping to add it to the menu.

Our tuna salad and potato salad have also been big hits over the past two weeks. We're planning to rotate them onto the menu so they'll be available regularly.
Desserts have been plentiful but selling out, in particular the banana pie bar and peach cobbler, thinking those need to be made weekly.

We'll be keeping you up to date on what's happening at the business and what we've been working on. Our weekly updates will be a little more detailed, giving you a better look at what's happening behind the scenes. We'll share a more complete picture of our progress, the successes we're celebrating, the challenges we're working through, and what's coming next.

I think my subconscious has taken over in the kitchen. 😂 Lately I've only been making desserts and managed to squeeze a couple of salads - tuna and potato salad.

I guess I felt so bad that you all haven't had desserts in a while that I just can't stop baking!

Today's dessert is peach cobbler, and tomorrow I'll be doubling up on the banana pie bar cake.

Just got done hosting a small private gathering with a buffet for a couple of hours today!
