We couldn’t wrap up this series without introducing the founder and heart behind Aroma, Dawn🤎
☕How did Aroma come to be?
From the very beginning, Dawn envisioned creating a quaint space that feels like an extension of home, a place where people feel welcomed, comfortable, and at peace. Her hope has always been that Aroma would be a gathering place where conversations flow, laughter is shared, old friendships grow stronger, new ones begin, and everyone leaves feeling a little more connected than when they arrived.

The Aroma Latte with oat milk. “It’s always the BEST!”

She was Miss Elgin in the Miss USA Pageant during college!
💼What does she do at Aroma?
As the proprietor of Aroma, Dawn wears many hats. From menu planning and ordering to scheduling, payroll, and supporting the team, she helps keep everything running behind the scenes. Her passion has always been creating a place where people feel welcomed, cared for, and at home.
❤️Family:
Married for 34 years, Mom to four children, two sons and two daughters, mother-in-law to two wonderful sons-in-law, and Grandma to precious grandbabies.
😊Favorite way to spend free time:
For Dawn, it’s always more about who she’s with than what she’s doing. She loves spending time with family and friends.
