Well that’s a wrap for our 2026 APA Michigan 8 Ball Challenge at the Soaring Eagle Resort and Casino.

Been a great event, great players and great memories.

Many tight matches, hill to hill finishes and nail bitter matches!!!

After a hard fight in the finals, Congratulations to Big Back Billiards from Saginaw Bay APA for winning the championship round.

Congrats to a very hard path from the losers side of the bracket to the second place team, Pure Bred Pool Sharks from Thumb Area APA.

Thank you to all the players that came out and spent this weekend with us. Thank you for all the kind words and appreciation for this event!!! Till we see you next year in September 2027.

Wednesday August 26th Singles event starts at 7pm. Brackets will be available alittle after 5pm.

Players meeting about 6:30pm

Room is open for practice. We are in the Main Entertainment Hall just past the casino floor. Next to the food court. If coming from the front door, take a left and you won’t miss it.

Attention to all the Michigan APA players headed to Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort this week for the 2026 APA Michigan 8 Ball Challenge.

Final counts are in!!!!

All events will be played in the Main Event Center past the Casino floor.

Tables will become available for practice at 4:00pm on Wednesday August 26th.

8 Ball Singles on Wednesday August 26th, play will begin at 7:00pm

8 Ball Jack & Jill on Thursday August 27th, play will begin at 3:00pm

Main Team Event on Friday August 28th, play will begin at 6:00pm

Last Chance Team Event on Saturday August 29th will begin at 6:00pm (Any team that lost their first 2 matches in the main event)

We will have a player meeting about 30 minutes prior to each event start time. Please be present for the meeting.

Brackets for each event will be released during the player meetings for that event. Not before.

Please have the Compusport app available, we use Compusport for all brackets, round times and score keeping.
