He’s behind the scenes a lot these days, but we wanted to take a minute to appreciate Nick. In addition to brewing, all the complicated stuff falls on him. Like figuring out the logistics to replicate our taproom trivia program up to the Vault for expanded seating! This one was tricky but he did it!

We had our first trivia night back last night after the summer break and it was great to have additional space so we could welcome even more people to come enjoy trivia.

Consider this your invitation to come join us Monday nights—we have plenty of room, for now at least. 😉 And thanks to Nick for carrying out all the ideas we throw at him! 🍻

Your favorite night of the week returns THIS MONDAY (tomorrow)! Join us from 6-8pm for 5 rounds of general trivia. No team size limits and you can join or leave at anytime! Running every Monday night through May.

The last addition for our Oktoberfest line up: DEVIL’S WASHBOARD.

This is a German Marzen L***r — very smooth with clean malty sweetness, medium body and a creamy texture.

The word “Märzen” means “March” in German. This style was traditionally brewed in March at the end of the cool brewing season and then stored (lagered) in cold caves and cellars over the warm months to then be served in the Autumn at traditional Oktoberfest!

We named this b**r “Devil’s Washboard” in collaboration with Ruttger’s Resort on Bay Lake. Ruttger's Bay Lake Resort
When the Ruttger family was building the original lodge resort, they used large log timbers sourced from Placid Lake. The appearance of the logs lined up in rows next to one another made it look like a giant ribbed washboard, hence coining that area of Placid Lake with the name “Devil’s Washboard”.

We created this b**r to honor the history of Ruttger’s Resort, and the traditional Oktoberfest celebrations! PROST! 🍻

Enjoy music from Steve Solkela’s One-Man-Band from 4:30pm-7:30pm. You can also catch the Jerry and Joyce polka dance band from 12:30-3:30. There will be German food, lots of b**r, steins, merch, and more all happening September 19th!

Dave’s Lakeside Campfire is now on tap and it’s best enjoyed, just as its name suggests, by a lakeside campfire.🏕️🔥🛶🌊

This b**r is a collaboration with award winning home brewer, Dave Matson. A dark, German Marzen L***r with 20% smoked barley. This Rauchbier (smoked b**r) is the next addition to our growing Oktoberfest lineup for our celebration on September 19th! Mark your calendars and fill your stein with Dave’s Lakeside Campfire!
