Hi Everyone!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the old restaurant area is no longer a parking lot or a driveway to the North alley. We have seeded the area and it will be grass until we build a new business. We want to keep it looking nice so driving is no longer allowed. Please park on the new street or drive on the roads.

Lots of positive changes for Cromwell in 2022 and beyond!

We are happy to see the new Highway 210 & 73 project finally underway. This will include major upgrades to infrastructure and streetscaping through our property and new expanded areas in town. We can’t start our dream until this is complete.

We are also excited to see new business development, major park improvements, and sidewalks to the Villa Vista. We encourage and welcome all projects that will revitalize our small community. All these projects will continue to energize the town!

We are still dreamin’. Our land is ripe for opportunity and development.

It is time for good news! The MN DOT project in Cromwell is moving forward in 2021. With new sidewalks, paving, and streetscaping, there are many reasons to get excited. With these important infrastructure and street updates, we can focus on building a business with a fresh new look.

Inspiration for Cromwell and Thom Finn’s

Everybody needs a place to gather for good food and merriment in a small town.

Once struggling, McIntosh, Minn. was revived, seemingly overnight, in a tale of investment and inspiration.

Someday this place will be a beautiful new addition to our small and hardy town!

For full transparency, we need a primary lender. Four banks have turned us down. We have great support from gap funders.

My Grandma Ebba and Grandpa Ray were told that their dream of building a rural nursing home in Cromwell would never happen. But it did.

Walt Disney’s dream was turned down how many times?

We need the right lender that can believe in us!

Greetings to our fans, supporters, and future diners/admirers!

To set the record, we will not be under construction this year. However, we hope our dream comes to fruition in Year 2020!

Here’s why:

1) The city of Cromwell and MN DOT are redoing the Main Street with new sidewalks, street lighting, and streetscaping next year. We are very excited about this and know it’s better to start a business with easy access (and not to mention town excitement and momentum!). We’d rather deal with the construction mess all at one time. It will be an exciting time for Cromwell.

2) We are eager to find the best primary lender to meet our business needs and plan. This takes time and a lot of careful planning, especially when we are building a destination restaurant/bakery/mercantile. Lenders are hesitant in a rural community but we are eager to show them that our support is unwavering and that our community and surrounding region need a beautiful space to eat, drink, gather, and be merry! We ask you for your patience and support while we continue to navigate this exciting business venture.

So in the meantime, we will keep marching forward...

And our future bankers may review this post so any encouragement for us and them, is greatly appreciated. We have more meetings planned in the near future. 😊
