Serving unique beer recipes of only the finest ingredients brewed in local craft breweries from all over the country. Do what you want and don’t let anyone stand in your way. That was Evil Horse – the name of our undersized appaloosa mare with an oversized desire to never be ridden. Owned by our Brewmaster; she refused to be conquered, and riding her became a challenge that many attempted and few succeeded. For those that got bucked off, we’d drink a beer in your honor – one that we took pride in crafting ourselves. As Evil Horse’s legend grew, so did our desire to create our own craft beer. We took inspiration from that obstinate appaloosa’s attitude – and opened Evil Horse Brewing Company, brewing the best beer possible, letting nothing stand in our way. Sadly, post COVID, our brewery division could not recover from the rising costs of materials, and the number of great breweries in our area saturated the market - so people in charge made the decision to stop the bleeding and the brewing process at our facility. The legend and attitude of Evil Horse is still prevalent in our taproom, as we honor the memory of our fantastic brews, and bring you some of the best microbrewery flavors that you won't find in the wild. Always in support of the small brewery industry and their hard-working Brewmasters, we strive to make sure we have a flavor for everyone. From our 14 taps to our 30 available cans and bottles, we have also added wine and spirits to our daily menu to provide a delicious beverage for everyone who visits. Proud to stand tall and give our guests the best experience of old Crete, our 114-year-old building is full of nostalgia and vintage charm. Our newly created "backyard" space, where the Crete Bowling Lanes, and our brewing division once lived, we now host private events and backyard games and tournaments. We also have pinball games, darts, sports on the TVs and music on the juke box. Evil Horse has remained unbridled and unconquered to this day, as has our passion to bring you an exceptional craft brewery experience that you can enjoy with family and friends. We are children and pet friendly! Our delicious beer recipes are safe with us, in the hopes that someday, they may be brought back to grace our taps again and we can honor and show respect to the brew team that created the beers that we all grew to love.

Hello Evil Friends...it sure feels like fall out there! And football season! It's a great day for a Bears Game and for tapping a new b**r!

This week we are tapping a brew from our friends up north, 3 Sheeps Brewing in Sheboygan, WI. Armchair Quarterback is a Copper L***r - the first of it's kind on our taps. This easy drinking l***r is brewed with the b**r loving sports fan in mind...with an ABV of just 5%, it's easily crushable, and the malty backbone gives it a rich flavor and amber color, but is still light enough to enjoy while pulling your hair out watching the game. This week we will have pints for just $5 - even easier to drink!

Bears Watch Party tonight at 7pm...All 16oz drafts are $5 during the game. 20oz large pours in a Bears cup are $7 and you get to keep the cup! We have some Bears Merch to raffle off between quarters...you'll get a ticket entered with every b**r you drink. 🐻👇

Sorry to say that Cheri is sick and tonight's Creative Taproom Workshop with On A Whim has been postponed to November 16. This Friday is Ted Jones the Piano Man at 7pm - fun show!

Thank you, Evil Friends, for a busy, fun filled, beautiful, patio day drinkin' weekend! Who would have thought that October would be the best month of the year?!?!? Let's enjoy this weather while we have it...it's all down hill from here!

This week's B**r of the Week is the last of our Halloween brews...and we think we saved the best for last! Brewery Omm3gang brewed this b**r with adult trick or treating in mind! All Hallows Treat is an Imperial Chocolate Peanut Butter Stout...it's so thick and rick and choc - olate, you can't drink it slow...sorry went back to my childhood for a second there - but not talking about chocolate milk! This b**r packs a nice, relaxing punch at 7.6% ABV - you may want to drink it slow! Hey all you Reese's lovers...this one is for you! Come by and grab a pint for just $5 this week.

We will be hosting a Stern Pinball Tournament this Thursday - registration is at 6:15pm, and play starts at 6:30pm. We need 16 players, and there are prizes to be wone. Open to all ages!

What a feeling to wake up to the sunshining and the crisp autumn air in our faces! You know what we are going to say - it's a great day for a day drinkin' patio b**r! We will be so sad when those days are behind us! Stop in this afternoon to see what that is all about!

Today is b**r tapping day! This week's B**r Of The Week is another revival...brought back from the dead, if you will...big thanks to Pollyanna Brewing for keeping this Alarmist brew is circulation - it's so nice outside we are going Pantless! Pantless Pale Ale, that is. This American Pale Ale won a bronze medal at the 2020 Great American B**r Festival...as one of Alarmists core b**rs, they use mosaic hops for the gentle bitterness, and citrusy flavors of lemon & grapefruit, with a hint of papaya, mango & peach, with a little dank pine to keep it from being fruity. At 6% ABV, this APA is not only drinkable, but it's very enjoyable...especially on a day like today! It's our BOTW price of just $5 a pint all week long.

Make sure you come in and check out our Halloween cocktail and shots menu! We have had a lot of fun tinkering with these! Monday Night Football is on tonight, and a World Series contender could be crowned tonight! We are hosting a Bear's Watch Party on Thursday - complete with $5 drafts and giveaways between quarters!
