Cresson American Legion - Post 238 Cresson American Legion - Post 238 The Cresson American Legion is headquartered in a beautiful 10,000 sq. ft.

brick-cased building that was built between 1948 and 1951. The facility is routinely used by members and the community for meetings, special events and daily tavern operation. The bar is open to ALL American Legion members (and their guests) regardless of which Post they belong to, and to social members who belong to the Cresson American Legion. Special events can be held at the Cresson American Legion. Wedding receptions, birthday parties, anniversaries, etc... can be celebrated at affordable prices in either the Admiral Peary Ballroom or in the Couples Room. Rob Hogue does an excellent job of helping customers plan their memorable event. Remember that Cresson Legion members qualify for a discount!

REMINDER - COMMUNITY ACTION NIGHT FOR PENNSYLVANIA SKILLS is tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16th from 5-7 PM at the Cresson American Legion. This event is open to the public. Free meal catered by Taddei’s Catering provided. Hope to see you there.

Please join us at the Cresson American Legion on Wednesday, September 16th at 5:00 PM for a Community Action Night in support of fair regulation of PA Skill Machines and also support PA Senate Bill 1079 and PA House Bill 2213. Remember the PA Supreme Court deadline to pass legislation is October 13th. After that date, you will not be legally permitted to operated PA Skill Machines.

This event is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Free meal catered by Taddei's Catering will be provided.

The Cresson Son's of the American Legion is holding another BBQ Chicken Dinner on Sunday, September 20th from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM. The Cresson American Legion is open!!! We opened at 9 AM today in support of the CVMA Vetfest Motorcyle Run. Kickstands up at 11 AM. Buffet Breakfast is now being served for $7 and is open to the public. Come on in and enjoy a nice hot breakfast and help send our combat veterans off on a safe run!
