Fresh off their victory at the Decades Smackdown on Memorial Day Weekend, this trio did it again, capturing the title at the sold-out Northeast Amateur Sweepers Tournament this past Sunday!

Congratulations to James Roberts, Justin Sorel, and Cheyne Nye on an incredible run. These guys are absolutely on fire and proving to be one of the hottest teams around right now!

The Decades Smackdown this past Memorial Day Sunday was a huge success! Over 220 bowlers competed across two squads, representing their respective decades — the 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

A huge thank you to Custom Pro-Fit for donating two bowling balls to raffle off. Together, we raised over $800 for the RI Community Food Bank! Special thanks to Lindsay for walking up and down the center selling raffle tickets all day — you made it possible.

We’re incredibly thankful to the entire staff here at Lang’s Bowlarama for hosting and putting on such an amazing event. Thank you to our Assistant GM Stephen Chartier and Tournament Director Richard Goetz for creating and organizing this tournament. Also, a big shoutout to our GM Carl DeRosa for helping Rich at the tournament desk entering scores throughout the day. Also, thank you to Steve and his wife Sarah for creating the custom Lang’s 65th Anniversary bowling pin trophies! 🎳🏆

Most importantly, thank you to all the bowlers from all over New England who came out to compete. Events like this only happen because of your continued support and passion for the game.

Special congratulations to Josh Palrao for bowling the only honor score of the day with an incredible 800 series! 🎳🔥

Today on this Memorial Day, all of us at Lang’s Bowlarama recognize and honor the brave men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice so we can enjoy the freedoms we live with every day. 🇺🇸

Thank you to our fallen heroes, and to all who have served and continue to serve our country. Your courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
