All good things must come to an end…

As most of you already know, the bar has been sold to a new owner and will be official on Wednesday. It’s difficult for us and for many of you to see it end but it’s time for us to pass the torch to someone else. It’s hard to put into words how grateful we are to all of our friends and family for the support of May’s Bar over the years. We all grew up with the bar and each other and have so many memories! I remember crushing relentless amounts of cans there as a kid and searching for spare change under the jukebox. Remember when you could play a song for 10 cents? We all have our memories but they are all with each other and despite the bar being sold, we are still all together - our rock solid family and all the friends we’ve gained over the years. We are thankful for each and every one of you!

A special thank you to Bonnie May who was the person behind the scenes keeping everything rolling. We love you and are so grateful for everything you’ve done.

It’s hard not to get choked up even writing this but we just want to express how important all of you have been to our family. Love you all and thank you to everyone for being part of the May’s Bar family!

T-shirts are in! If you ordered a shirt at the party you can pick it up after noon today at the bar. There are some extras too for purchase for $20. Deadline for sales/pick up is June 13th.

Thank you everyone for coming out yesterday or sending best wishes If you couldn’t! Dad had an amazing time seeing everyone! Thank you to Bobby Vintage and Matt Adams for the music and to everyone that brought food.
