Our Story

Tap Talks is a free monthly event hosted by Block 15 and 500 Women Scientists Corvallis during which experts in science, agriculture and the environment can share their knowledge and experiences in a casual, fun space. Tap Talks engages the public in these topics through Q&A sessions with the speakers. Our vision is to connect people to one another and to new ideas through craft beer and conversation. We host researchers, farmers, agriculture professionals, non-profit leaders, innovative and environmentally-minded businesspeople, and other visionaries to present their passions. This year our goal is to highlight women in the community! If you are interested in speaking, please contact us at [email protected], you don’t have to be a 500 WS Corvallis member. If you've recently attended a Tap Talk and want to give us feedback on the event, please click the link in the bio and tell us what you think. Thank you!
