Tonight was something special.

Pueblo Southwest Community College hosted a Women’s History Month evening featuring local women writers sharing their voices through storytelling and poetry, and we were lucky enough to have a front-row seat. Thank you to Sabina Modeste for organizing this and for planting the seed of what we hope becomes a recurring part of our community’s creative programming.

Bethany Turner, Mimi Gorman, Brandi Blaisdell, and Sabina herself each brought something real and raw to the room, including the kind of insight that only a woman can truly deliver. (Hot flashes were discussed. You had to be there. Or, actually, now you can be.)

If you missed it or just want to relive it, the full recording is up on YouTube:

Here’s to more evenings like this one.

☘️ What a night! Thank you to everyone who came out for Limericks & Libations on St. Patrick’s Day!

Congratulations to our Limerick Contest winner - Nancy Segal! 🏆 She brought the AABBA and took home the Lucky Charms and a $50 ZU gift card. Well deserved.

A huge thank you to Shamus & Andy aka Tom & Jake McIntosh - back for their fourth St. Patrick’s Day with us, and to their special guests Erika and Sarah for making the night feel extra magical. 🎶🎻

📸 16 photos from the night - most captured by the talented Alysha Rivera. So grateful for her lens!

It started with an email from Mark Stevens in December. By March, it had become The Factory Sessions -- a two-hour film, a five-piece band, and a room full of new and familiar faces.

Our latest blog post pulls back the curtain on what it actually takes to put on a night like that. The music starts before the gig.

It started with an email. On December 20th, 2025, Mark Stevens sent a note to the ZU asking if we might be interested in having Midnight Cowboy come play. Casual, friendly, no pressure. He mentioned
