Bella Luna Downtown, open since October 2014, is the place to go for Authentic Italian Cuisine and quality beer and wine. Owner Salvatore Colicci was born and raised in NYC, his family has been in the restaurant business for over 40 years, and we know how food is supposed to taste. Bella Luna Downtown has a full Italian entrée menu which is delightful, generous and includes freshly-made bread. across from Retama Park, Bella Luna Downtown is rapidly creating a following among South Texas residents who want delicious Italian food at reasonable prices. Sauces are made from scratch every day, nothing is pre-cooked, and your dish is always made fresh to order. Our specialties include the Fettuccine Alfredo with pan seared chicken or jumbo shrimp, the Cavatelli Bolognese in a rosèe with freshly cut mushrooms and crushed housemade meatballs, and the Chicken Parmigiana served over penne marinara. Desserts include White Chocolate Limoncello, Italian Cream Cake, Tiramisu, Chocolate Eruption, and Cannolis. Bella Luna Downtown offers occasional live music, delivery, beer and wine, event party rentals, and catering.
