Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and state restrictions in place to slow the spread of the virus, Bearded Face Productions has made the difficult decision to cancel the Third Annual Mustang Rock & Roast, which was scheduled for this upcoming weekend.

“The safety and well-being of our fans, musicians and staff is our top priority, and unfortunately things did not improve enough for us to hold the event we had planned,” said Producer and Owner of Bearded Face Productions Mike Dianna. “We are looking forward to hosting our Mustang events in 2021 with hopes of gathering people together again, but right now we ask everyone to show some love to the Mustang Outreach Program.”

Each year, a portion of the proceeds from Mustang Spring Jam and Mustang Rock & Roast go to the Mustang Outreach Program, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to encourage and cultivate children’s creativity and individualism through music.

For the past eight years over 80 percent of the income needed to sustain the Mustang Outreach Program has come from the Mustang festivals and community concerts, and due to all of the event cancellations in 2020 that income has come to a halt.

To help save the Mustang Outreach Program, Mike Dianna asks Mustang fans to make a donation.

“The fans and musicians are not the only ones who have suffered from the cancellation of both of our 2020 Mustang events,” said Dianna. “If you were planning to attend Mustang Spring Jam or Mustang Rock & Roast this year, we would deeply appreciate you donating your ticket cost or a portion of your ticket cost to the program. Your generous donations will save this special program and allow us to help the kids keep making music.”

Those interested in supporting the Mustang Outreach Program can make a donation online at MustangOutreachOBX.org, paypal.me/mustangoutreach, or at MustangMusicFestival.com.

Due to the uncertainty of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and the county and state restrictions in place to slow the spread of the virus, we have made the extremely tough decision to cancel Mustang Spring Jam 9, which was scheduled to be held at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room in Corolla the weekend of May 16-17 💔

“This was an incredibly difficult decision that we put a lot of thought into, but the health and safety of our festival family, the performers, our staff and our volunteers is our top priority,” said Producer and Owner of Bearded Face Productions Mike Dianna. “A lot of work goes into the month leading up to the event, and there were just too many unknowns for us to comfortably move forward with what we needed to do to make Mustang Spring Jam 9 happen. We appreciate your understanding.”

All tickets purchased online or through the Etix Call Center with a credit or debit card will be refunded automatically. Due to high volumes, you should expect to see your refund within 20 business days. We do apologize for any inconvenience.

“Our plan is to try to rebook as many of the Mustang Spring Jam 9 bands as we can to play at Mustang Rock & Roast this fall,” added Dianna. “We are hoping to expand the fall festival and give everyone something really awesome to look forward to. Please stay tuned for updates.”

For any questions regarding Mustang Spring Jam 9 or other upcoming Bearded Face Productions events, please email Mike Dianna at [email protected].
