It is with a heavy heart that we write this post. As of today, Kelly’s Texican is permanently closed. The last year and half has been extremely difficult for the restaurant industry, and like many restaurants, our sales have not returned to pre-COVID levels, while our costs have continued to increase 20-50% on goods, services and labor. We’ve been hanging on, hoping things would improve, but I’m afraid the resources just aren’t there to continue operating.
We’d like to thank all our guests for their support, especially those who supported us through the pandemic and the months that we were only open for to-go orders. Coppell is our home, and we look forward to continuing the friendships that we made while open and continuing to support the community in other ways.
