A day in the life of a small business owner 🥃

Long days. Long nights. A whole lot of behind the scenes work that never makes it to the bar.

Building a small business means constantly balancing the hustle with staying true to the vision, creating something that feels like us, even when the easier choice would be to take the shortcut.

It’s not always glamorous, and it’s definitely not always easy. But we’re building something we believe in, one cocktail, one guest, and one late night at a time.

Here’s hoping all those long days and longer nights pay off someday. 🤍

Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001. Honoring the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage of the first responders and ordinary people who showed extraordinary strength. 🇺🇸

This weekend, we’ll be open our normal hours and look forward to seeing you.
Friday: 5pm - 11:30pm
Saturday: 2pm - 11:30pm
One little heads up: Fall Fun Fest is happening on the Square, so parking and getting downtown may take a little extra time. Plan ahead, give yourself a few extra minutes, and come soak up the last of our summer menu this weekend. 🥃

🍂 Fall Fun Fest is this weekend! 🍂
We'll be open our normal business hours:
Friday 5pm - 11:30pm
Saturday 2pm - 11:30pm

We love being on Cookeville’s historic downtown square, but parking will be tricky starting Thursday evening!

📍 Reserved spots for our patrons are available in the lot behind the Methodist Church.

📍 Public parking is available off of Dixie Ave near the Dogwood Park playground.

Come enjoy all that CityScape 's Fall Fun Fest has to offer this weekend, and make sure to pop in for a drink after!

Happy Labor Day!

Today we’re celebrating the hard work and dedication of the people who make our community what it is. We hope you get a chance to slow down, gather with friends, and enjoy the day. ❤️

And a little reminder: this is the LAST WEEK to soak up our Summer Menu [that includes those bacon jalapeño deviled eggs too]!

Next week, our Fall Menu makes its debut! 🍂 We can’t wait to share what we’ve been working on.

🥂 THREE YEARS OF 1854! 🥂

Three years ago, we opened our doors with a love for great cocktails, good conversation, and creating a space where people could come together and enjoy something a little different.

And three years later… we’re still here, still shaking, stirring, experimenting, and pushing the creative boundaries of what a cocktail can be.

That’s because of YOU. Our patrons, our regulars, our first-timers, and everyone who has pulled up a chair at 1854 — you’re the reason we get to keep doing this thing we love. ❤️

So, to celebrate three years of date nights, girls’ nights, celebrations, late-night conversations, new friendships, unforgettable experiences, and a whole lot of really good drinks.

1854s are just $5 ALL WEEKEND LONG. 🍸
