El Fuego Mexican Grill is set to open at 1018 Oak Street on April 20th! This family-owned restaurant—led by Mauricio and Paola Portillo, along with their children, David and Valerie Pavon—is excited as they prepare to welcome the community through its doors in just a few days.

The name El Fuego, meaning “The Fire,” reflects the family’s Christian faith, symbolizing how God is present through every season of life, refining, strengthening, and guiding the journey. With prayer as the foundation of the restaurant, the family hopes this space will be a place that reflects the Lord’s faithfulness, love, and goodness to everyone who walks through the doors.

El Fuego will operate as a counter-service restaurant, allowing guests to order at the counter and enjoy a quick, convenient experience. The menu will include burritos, tacos, bowls, nachos, and several other amazing options! Join them in celebrating their grand opening on April 20th at 11:00!
