Last night the Dickinson Planning & Zoning committee approved our building and site development plans! We don't have a ground breaking date just yet, but were working hard to get that all figured out. Huge thanks to everyone at the City of Dickinson. They've been super supportive of us the whole way. Also a big thank you to Milton Architects and EFH Consulting Engineers for their great work on our building and site plans. Here's a little preview.

Hey everyone, a lot of our brewery friends have been struggling throughout the COVID crisis. Check out this post from the Texas Craft Brewers Guild on how you can help support small breweries!

The economic and public health crisis brought on by COVID-19 and Office of the Governor Greg Abbott's June 26th shutdown of “51% establishments” threaten to decimate the Texas craft brewing industry.

Our latest survey of Texas Craft Brewers Guild members found that ONE IN THREE Texas craft breweries believe they will have to permanently close in LESS THAN THREE MONTHS without some change to the current shutdown order or new economic relief options. TWO IN THREE believe they will not make it to the END OF THE YEAR under current conditions.

Texans, if you want your local breweries to still be in business on the other side of this second shutdown, please continue to vote with your dollar and buy local, small, and independent beer. In 2019, we fought for Beer-To-Go. Now, it's the only thing keeping many small breweries afloat.

Just wanted to check in with everyone and let you know that the current status of the world has slowed us down, but it has not stopped anything. We're still coming! And, we can't wait to see you all on the other side of this thing! We're working on permits right now and hope to have some more to report soon. We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy!

In the mean time, we got our hands on a drone and took this fun picture.

Since you can't buy our beer yet, you should go buy theirs! And make sure you mention how cool the canning machine looks.

Thank you to Flying Rhino Brewing Company for letting us borrow their Oktober canning machine. The beer industry is like no other. Since they aren’t open yet and are waiting on the build out of their facility, they let us borrow their equipment to allow us to package more beer. We can now individually can 16 oz beers. Available as a single can or 4-packs. We also have 32 oz and 64 oz growlers and fills available. You can either order ahead online at the link below or swing by today from 3-6 pm.

One thing all breweries have in common is the need for a solid foundation (beer is heavy). In order to make sure ours is strong, we had a crew out drilling soil samples for our structural engineer this morning. Just one more exciting step along the way! And go Astros!
