Here’s a no-update update on the soft serve margarita machine.

After reaching out to overseas customer service and waiting for a response their troubleshooting instructions appear to include advising we should “call the police.” We’re not entirely sure what emergency a frozen margarita machine creates, but we’re choosing not to involve law enforcement at this time. 😂

When we decided to try soft serve margaritas, we spent a ton of time researching equipment. Commercial machines can easily run $7,000–$10,000+, so we opted to test the concept with a more budget-friendly machine first. We’ve seen plenty of other businesses successfully using this exact model.

William is a controls engineer by day, and he’s already diagnosed what appears to be a faulty sensor. A replacement is on the way, and we’re hoping to have everything up and running as soon as possible.

We are so eager to get this rolling once this thing decides to cooperate!
