We lost an amazing friend and neighbor over at Markko Vineyard. Lisa Esterer was a constant advocate for Conneaut Creek wines and she led her life with grace and kindness. We'll miss her dearly and ask everyone to share our condolences to our friends over at Markko Vineyard.

With a collective heavy heart, Markko Vineyard is sharing the sad news of the passing of our beautiful Lisa Esterer. We invite all of our local Northeast Ohio friends to gather at Markko Vineyard from 4pm-6pm on Friday September 11 for wine and small bites. Please note there will be a separate gathering for her Central Ohio family and friends at a later date.

Words from her beloved husband Dave:
"My sweet Lisa passed away peacefully and surrounded by family. She is now pain free and experiencing heaven with gods complete and unending love 💕 God bless you all for the parts you played in her life 🙏 We are all better people for knowing her and experiencing the unconditional love and support she radiated to everyone ✝️ I would choose her in every life."

The rain is passing and it looks like a beautiful weekend ahead! We're here today, Friday, until 8pm.

Tomorrow, come enjoy some tunes from Danny Pugliese - the pavilion is open and waiting for you! Music starts at 5:00pm 🎤🎶

Please make note that the pavilion will be closed on Sunday from 1pm-5pm for a private event. We will still have plenty of seating in the patio or tasting room though!

Need a break from all the wonderful activities going on this weekend? Whether you're enjoying the wonderful Ashtabula County Fair down in Jefferson or D-Day in our beautiful city of Conneaut, don't forget to give yourself a breather and grab a glass of wine!

Come try out our new flatbread, Veggie Forest! It's topped with pesto, mozzarella, olives, green peppers, red onions and finished with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.

It's never an easy choice but we are closing for today (Sunday, August 9). You guys were a complete vibe last night and the on-site wedding was absolutely gorgeous!

EDIT: Shout out to Pickle Milk String Band for bringing the tunes last night!

But we are out of food, we need to clean and realistically, we are out of steam! We always appreciate everyone's understanding with our limited staff but we will be open again starting on Friday (August 14) at 12pm.

We're open today from 12pm-8pm! Pickle Milk String Band starts strumming away at 6pm. Enjoy some folk tunes in the back lawn and soak in the gorgeous vineyard setting.

Our pavilion is closed today for a wedding - please bring a chair if you'd like to enjoy music, seating is limited!

Hi friends! First and foremost, thank you all for your continued support. We had a blast on Friday night and a peaceful Saturday.

We are closed for today (Sunday, July 26th). We are already running a skeleton crew and they have obligations at the Wine and Walleye event in the beautiful Ashtabula Harbor. We would like to extend our gratitude to the Wine and Walleye committee for hosting a table in honor of Bill.

We hope to see you all on Friday (July 31) and we apologize for any inconvenience!
