Paint it GREEN, he said. In 1997, shortly after its opening, the owner's father (a legend--may he rest peacefully) took it upon himself to have Fitzpatrick's Pub painted a lovely shade of green. Though this came as quite a surprise (the owner was effing shocked), the color stuck and a great story was created. We may stand out 364 days of the year (thankfully), but today we blend perfectly. Happy St. Paddy's from our inside and out! Slàinte!

A Culinary Institute of America graduate with an impressive resume to boot, will not only be there to answer any questions you have about his Pearl River location and his off-premises private catering, he will be guest bar tending! As a Pearl River resident, I'd heard of AJ's Catering & Take Out — I had picked up a menu somewhere, and I'd noticed the small sign across Middletown Road from the beloved King Kone directing customers to AJ's modest storefront around the corner.

If you hadn't noticed, we don't post photos of our patrons here to make our bar seem more appealing. Fitzpatrick's Pub respects your Facebook privacy. You wouldn't want your boss to see you letting loose or have a boyfriend or girlfriend see you out when you're supposed to be taking it easy at home... And, neither would we. We'd say what happens in Fitzy's stays in Fitzy's, but that's been overdone. Anyway, you get the point. ;-)

Fitzpatrick's Pubs Rules, Guidelines, and Tips

1. Enter only with a good attitude. Go home with an even better one.

2. If you're stuck up, we suggest you leave now. You might end up having fun, but that would be unlike you.

3. If you're really stuck up, go elsewhere. You probably won't have any fun there either…

4. Our bartenders will not flirt or flatter for extra tips. Sorry. Don't take it personally.

5. We take requests from customers we like. If you want something, ask. If we don't have it, we will try our best to get it for the next time.

6. Be considerate of others. No cussing around the ladies. I mean, leave the cussing to the ladies.

7. No fighting. Period. Never ever. Not with your friend, significant other, or stranger. Absolutely no fighting ever. We're not that kind of place.

8. We don't have to serve you if we don't want to.

9. Enjoy yourself.

10. And, lastly enjoy yourself. Yes, enjoy yourself is repeated. We're very serious about that.
