So, remember when all the amazing people donated money to help feed the folks affected by floods? Do you also remember that a lot of people donated a lot of money, but one young lady donated a considerable amount? We were so grateful, shocked, and humbled by this and cried. Andrea Dunn really cried, she does that. Fast forward to last night, a post on Facebook said someone would be selling huckleberry and blueberry bushes in concrete. Andrea commented, explaining she works today and asked if the plant seller could deliver, but there was no response. Then, this woman, the one who made such a wonderful donation, shows up with huckleberry and blueberry bushes for us. OMG. I asked if she's the same one who donated during the flood (I was pretty positive she was), she said yes. I thanked her and asked, 'So are you just loaded and need to get rid of some money or are you just the sweetest, nicest person on the planet?' Her dad says she's both. It turns out her husband passed away a couple of years ago, and she uses the money she received to pay it forward and help people when she can. Now, Andrea and I are both crying. This woman is my hero; she's selfless, sweet, and giving. I hope to be half the person she is. God bless you.
