Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it is a day to honor the sacrifices made by those who gave everything for our country, our communities, and the people they loved.

Here at Lonestar, we are incredibly grateful for the freedoms we often take for granted and for the families who carry the weight of that sacrifice every single day.

🌟 EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT: Meet Bailey! 🌟

Say hey to Bailey—one of the friendly faces you’ve probably seen serving up smiles (and great food) since July 2024!

Bailey is currently a student at Texas A&M University-Commerce, working toward her degree in 4–8 Math Education and set to graduate in Spring 2027. (Future teacher alert! 🍎)

When she’s not at Lonestar, you’ll likely find her:
🎤 Singing karaoke
☀️ Soaking up the sunshine
🐶 Hanging out with her dog, Luna
📺 Rewatching Friends or The Devil Wears Prada
🎶 Listening to Bruno Mars

Bailey has a background in dance (15 years!), and that energy definitely shows in how she connects with guests. She’s a true people person who loves meeting new faces and hearing your stories.

⭐ Employee Spotlight: Mariclair ⭐

We love celebrating the amazing team members who grow with us — and Mariclair is a perfect example! She has been part of the Lonestar family for four years, first joining us as a friendly hostess and now working hard behind the scenes in the back kitchen helping keep everything running smoothly.

Recently, Mariclair reached an exciting milestone by graduating from Texas A&M University–Commerce with a degree in Criminal Justice. Her dedication and work ethic don’t stop there — she has also gained valuable experience through internships with the Hunt County District Attorney’s Office, where she continues to pursue her passion for true crime and investigation.

Outside of work, Mariclair enjoys spending time with her two beloved cats (including her sweet 17-year-old kitty!) and relaxing with episodes of The Office (American version) — a favorite comfort show.

We are so proud of Mariclair and grateful for the positive attitude and determination she brings to Lonestar every day. Be sure to tell her congratulations next time you see her! ❤️
