One thing you will find out about Friends is that we believe in the best ingredients and in food quality. That is why we only use fresh Certified Angus Beef for our burgers. And they are made locally too, supporting our local economy first.

As well, Friends has won the Northeast Georgia Cattlemen’s Association contest for 2 years in a row with our burgers. And every Tuesday night from 5 to 10pm, we have BOGO BURGERS! That is “buy 1 get 1 free”. So, come and check us out. And maybe get our House Margarita or House LIT for only $6, every day, all day…

🎉 WE’RE OPENING MONDAY! 🎉

We are excited to announce that Friends in beautiful Downtown Monroe, located at 132 N. Broad Street, is officially geared up to open Monday, October 12th at 11:00 AM!

The final piece of the puzzle was our health inspection… and we got a 100! 😊 So, we’re ready to roll!

Now, we would strongly recommend that you don’t all show up Monday at exactly 11:00 AM… because, well, that could get a little interesting. 😂 But we can promise you this: our very first customer is going to get something special! It won’t be anything quite like Chick-fil-A does, so there’s no need to start camping out on Broad Street Sunday night. 😆🤪

As excited as we are, we also want to be honest with you. Opening a brand-new restaurant means there’s a pretty good chance we’ll make a few more mistakes than we normally do. Our food may take a little longer, your drinks might not arrive quite as quickly, and there may be a few moments of organized chaos. After all, it’s our first day, and everyone is new!

But here’s what we can promise: we’ll have a great attitude, we’ll work hard, and if we make a mistake, we’ll do everything we can to make it right. All we ask in return is for just a little bit of Grace and Patience as we get our feet underneath us.

We are incredibly blessed and thankful for the opportunity to be a part of Downtown Monroe, and we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors, feed you some great food, and hopefully make Friends along the way.

There’s fish and chips… and then there’s Fish & Chips done the right way.

Our huge 11-ounce haddock is hand-dipped in a crisp, golden Bass Ale b**r batter and fried until perfectly light, crunchy and flaky inside, served on a bed of salt and vinegar chips, with a generous pile of golden fries, lemon and creamy tartar sauce.

And the people who know Fish & Chips best seem to notice the difference—especially our guests from England and New England, where a proper piece of battered fish is something they take seriously. We’ve heard time and time again from truly educated fish-and-chips eaters that this one hits the mark.
