Miss The Table? Here’s your chance to change that!!!
As everyone already knows, one year ago, the world came to a standstill. I had to shut the doors to my restaurant and lay off my team. The Table was one of the many, many small businesses that could not recover from that hit.
What a lot of you might not know, is that just a short two weeks after the shut down, a few of us started an amazing non-profit called Service! to provide much needed relief to service industry workers. A week after that, we served the first of what turned into 11,000 meals! Since then, we have given out dozens of micro-grants, turkeys, resources, more grants, and on and on.
Our work is far from done. We can not sustain the work we do without fundraising. We are in week 3 of our chef auction to raise money for service industry workers that need a hand right now. For all those of you that have said that they miss The Table, or are a part of Tiffinwali, this is your chance to have me come to your house and cook up an amazing meal for you.
