Coal Fired Pizza and Live Music Natalie’s is an intimate venue dedicated to creating a dynamic atmosphere for both artists and audiences alike.

The space offers the combination of live music, old world New York Neapolitan style pizza made in a unique high temperature coal fired oven, classic cocktails made with freshly squeezed juices, wines, and the best local and regional craft brews. The entertainment is presented on a specially designed stage with high quality sound, lights, and video, with care being taken to provide all patrons with

a great view of the stage. The music will include a variety of the finest local and national artists, and will mostly feature the “Americana” format, which will include folk, singer/songwriter, jazz, blues, Irish, and other traditional styles. The space also displays art installations created by various local artists and offers the occasional array into film, theatre, and dance. All booking inquiries direct to [email protected]

Why Coal? These coal ovens are used in New York City where the first pizzerias in the United States emerged over 100 years ago. Heating with coal brings the oven temperature up to 1200 degrees, which gives the pizza a unique flavor and a perfectly charred crust that can’t be matched with gas, convection, or wood ovens. The type of coal used is anthracite, which comes from abandoned mines in Pennsylvania. It is one of the world’s cleanest burning fossil fuels – cleaner than wood fires or gas grills- with minimal black smoke to damage the environment. TICKETS & RESERVATIONS

We are closed for business at our Worthington location until Friday, November 11th and Saturday, November 12th, which marks the end of the road at Natalie’s Coal-fired Pizza and Live Music with a weekend of live music from some of the best musicians in Columbus. Come celebrate what has been a great 10 plus year run with Popgun, Hoodoo Soul Band and many Special Guests. We will be serving coal-fired pizza both nights! When reflecting on this place I created with my Dad Charlie, it’s hard not to start at the very beginning. My kid years when I thought he was the coolest with his brick and mortar video store and then his record store and always with his cool tees. Our mutual love of basketball and the Columbus Quest. My as***le teen years when I told him to Never wear his rain man hat to my soccer games, which is funny because now my look is very much tied around my own hats. The NYC days where we really conceptualized this place. When they used to visit me, we would talk about our place; “When we have our place, this is how it’s going to be.” A decade ago, when trying to figure our how to come up with enough money to open this place, and were told by many friends and family that we were crazy, I remember thinking they were the crazy ones for thinking we couldn’t do it.

And here we are now, a life and a half later, closing the doors of the place where it all started, in a city we love, a city that makes it possible for the little guys to run things too. In a community that was more than we could have ever hoped for, that truly was a discriminating audience that let us be ourselves. To our loyal Worthington community and music lovers throughout, it’s never easy to make these kind of decisions, especially when it’s a place that means so much to so many people, but the next chapter for us is at 945 King Ave where our story continues. We hope you continue this journey with us because there’s two music rooms in Grandview, The Music Hall and Charlie’s Stage, with many new memories to be shared. We went with Charlie’s Stage (my mama's idea) and it resonated with me the most because that’s what sets us apart- him and me and you and the whole lot of us. We’re not sure yet when the official last day will be in Worthington, but we will sure as hell announce a final goodbye, and with that, hopefully announce the ones we pass the Coal-Fired torch to.
