Cheers to 8 Years! 🍻 EIGHT YEARS! What started as “Hey Nicole, you should open up a bar in the basement…” into what it is today. What a ride it’s been! 😅

I have A LOT of pictures from over the years, so I’m doing this recap in segments! I’ve already shared the before pictures, featured my amazing staff, and today we’re taking a look at four of the not-so-joyous times and biggest obstacles we’ve faced as a business.

🦠 COVID — March 2020

💩 Sewer backup — August 2025

As much as I’d love to tell you it’s been all sunshine and rainbows around here, any business owner knows there are always challenges. Luckily, I’ve had an army of friends, family, customers, and even complete strangers who have stepped up and helped us through every single one. From cleaning and rebuilding to simply showing up when we needed it most — I could never thank you enough. We truly live in one of the greatest communities. 🫶

Eight years have flown by, and I’m beyond grateful for every high, every low, every lesson, every laugh, and every person that has been party of our story!

I have sooooooo many pics over the years, so I’m going to share the memories in segments! This post is showing what it looked like when we took over the space, and a few progress pics! 📷

Thank you to those who have chosen us to host MANY events and gatherings- birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, class reunions, bridal showers, baby showers, diaper kegs, chili feeds, vendor events, private tastings, charcuterie classes, cookie classes, bread making classes, book club, Bloody Mary and mimosa bars, waffle bar, bingo night, live music…. just to name a few! 🎉

Our collab with Black Market Pizza has been nothing short of amazing and we are so excited for them as their business continues to grow! 🍕 If you haven’t tried Leo & Tina’s unique Mexican-style pizzas yet, you’re missing out (it’s so hard to pick a fave)! They’re open every Friday-Saturday 5–9 (or sold out), and recently added Sunday carryout 11-3!

The Fall for the Arts lineup just keeps growing!

We’ve added another performer to an already packed day of art, music and creativity in Downtown Columbus!

Oscar Vazquez Medrano has joined the lineup and will perform at Cork & Barrel from 12:45–1:45 p.m. on Saturday, September 19.

With artists exhibiting throughout the Trackside District and live performances happening at multiple venues, there’s going to be a LOT to see and hear. That means you’ll definitely want to check out the updated schedule and start planning your day!
