Fall is FINALLY here! With lows this past weekend in the 20s I decided to check some brush piles and cribs on Sunday. Water temp was around 50 on this 300 acre lake. Panfish and walleyes were loaded up on the cribs! Kept 8 12 to 12.5" and threw back the bigger crappies. I believe turnover just happened, because there were still some walleyes just cruising open flat areas alone. Side note, the crappies were hitting the XL fathead minnows from Dewey Catchem and How, so that goes with the fall pattern of bigger baits. There will be a video coming.

Half day today with Jason, who has fished with me before. Haven't been out on this deep clear lake for 2 months, so wasn't sure what to expect. The water temp was 54°. Found fish in 15 to 18ft near huge schools of bait. XL fathead minnows from Dewey Catchem and How worked the best. These are my go to in the fall, bigger than a normal fathead, but not as big as chubs or suckers. Wind was building throughout the day, but fall is an awesome time to fish walleyes! Give me a call 608 220 3530. Thanks Jason! Always a good time with "The Dude"😁. Your Bobbers Down, Inc Amped Outdoors LLC Piscifun THE BOBBER BUDDY Liquid Willow Cat FINS Braids

82°,sunny and windy. Fished a new to me, couple hundred acre lake. Walleyes are set up on brush and trees, and they didn't seem to mind the balmy October weather. Minnow bite was the best, they wouldn't look at a crawler. 13 to 15ft was where the action was. Give me a call if you want to get out and get in on the fall harvest! Got out for a few hours this afternoon on a deep, clear lake near Hayward. Fish were much shallower than I thought, with the water temp still being 60°. Jig and crawler was better than minnows. Found walleyes in as shallow as 6 to 7ft. Next week should push more fish shallow with the projected temps.

Got out after work for a couple hours on a smaller lake. Fish were tight to the breaklines. Caught quite a few that were under 15", managed a couple legals, with the last fish coming in at 26"! Water temp was still surprisingly 62°. All fish were in 10 to 12ft. Fall is a great time to go fishing! Your Bobbers Down, Inc Amped Outdoors LLC Piscifun THE BOBBER BUDDY Liquid Willow Cat
