Tonight, Urban Saloon feels a little quieter.

We lost one of our own, William “Bill” Schmidt, at 81 years old. To most people, he may have just been a customer walking through the door, but to us, he was family. Bill was the kind of regular every bar hopes for. Loyal, kind, full of stories, and always able to make the room feel warmer just by being there.

No matter where I worked, Bill always found his way there, sitting down like an old friend coming home. He made me feel appreciated, comfortable, and reminded me why I love what I do so much. Some people order drinks. Some people leave memories behind. Bill left both.

He loved deeply, especially the love of his life, and I know in my heart they’re together again now.

Urban Saloon will miss your smile, your presence, your stories, and your seat at the bar. And I know I will too.

Rest easy my sweetest friend, Billy. You were truly one of a kind, and you’ll never be forgotten around here. 🤍

Somewhere between the late nights, loud music, crazy rushes, endless problem solving, and pouring my heart into this place… I realized just how much I truly love what I do. 🍻✨

Being Bar Manager at Urban Saloon has honestly become one of the best experiences of my life. This job has challenged me, pushed me, tested me, and somehow still makes me excited to walk through those doors every single day. I’m proud of what we’re building here. Proud of the atmosphere, the people, the memories, and the little family we’ve created along the way.

And Randy… thank you. Seriously. I’m so damn appreciative of the trust, support, patience, and opportunity you’ve given me. Not everybody gets a boss who believes in them the way you have believed in me. I don’t take that lightly.

This place is more than just a bar to me. It’s growth. It’s passion. It’s hard work. It’s laughter until close, fixing problems on the fly, celebrating wins, surviving chaos, and somehow still loving every second of it.

I can handle it because I care about it. And I care about it because this place genuinely means something to me. ❤️

Thank y’all for supporting us, supporting me, and helping make this wild little h***y tonk dream what it is. We’re just getting started. 🤠🍺
