Wow. What can we say? Other than THANK YOU to of Forest Acres 🌳 🍷
Owner Tony Carbone and his crew served up wine and beer at Sweet Seasons and in the end, used some profits to make an extremely generous donation to the Forest Acres Police Department.
Molto Vino Forest Acres bought **10 Lockout Kits** to outfit more FAPD police vehicles with this life saving tool.
After reading a recent story where two FAPD officers used a lockout kit to save a child from a locked car at Cooper Library, and learning several officers had bought lockout kits with their own money, Carbone wanted to step up and fill the gaps a donation.
“Forest Acres is blessed to be served by the best police force that continually goes above and beyond,” says Carbone. “I appreciate their willingness to buy these tools on their own, but I want them keeping their money in their own pockets. We have a close community in Forest Acres and Molto Vino saw this as tangible way to pay it forward - especially at the holidays.”
It is a gesture very much appreciated by FAPD Chief Don Robinson. “Community business partners committed to helping us with resources that allow us to give our best every day is what makes Forest Acres a special place to serve.”
