We are honored to have Jantzen Peake showcased this October with his beautiful, vibrant yet dark, culture inspired art!

Jantzen Peake, a graduate from CSU Long Beach with a BA in Studio Arts, is known for his vibrant color palette, his edgy-alternative, punk rock, pop culture influenced subject matter.

“I am not a Painter, I am a Performer”-Basquiat.

Family is important to him and what eventually brought from his home town of Hermosa Beach California to Colorado.

Not fitting the “social norm” in Colorado Springs he remains true to his art. Day in and day out he is working hard to keep art a unique culture here in Colorado Springs.

Mr. Peake also has been an Art Educator at the Fine Arts Centers Bemis School of Art Lessons for going on eight years, focusing on sharing his experience and knowledge with the next generation. He also works diligently in art advocacy and art curations at The Primordial Gallery inside Sevens Gate Tap Room.

Mr. Peake believes theres a need in this town to create an inspiring safe space for likeminded creators to thrive, especially when there is not a lot of opportunities for out of the box type movers and shakers here locally.

So come down this Friday and check out the dark, the vibrant, the beautiful and uniquely talented
