719 Swing 'n Jam We teach beginner and intermediate/advanced swing dancing lessons weekly in addition to a social dance! No partner or experience required to join the fun.

We cover styles such as Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing, Charleston, Blues, and Shag.

Happy June! As mentioned in our last few social dances, 719 Swing 'n Jam is facing some challenges, as are most swing dances in Colorado Springs: lower participation and interest. We are implementing a few changes to try to make our scene accessible and fun for all!

To start, we are offering a sliding scale payment option. You can contribute between $5 and $20 for 2 lessons and a social dance that are happening every Sunday!

The lessons will be starting earlier, and are 45 minutes long to allow for dancers to take both if they would like. Our Intermediate/Rotating lessons will be from 5:30 - 6:15 PM, and the Beginner East Coast/Lindy lessons will be from 6:15 - 7 PM (with a short break in between).

If you'd prefer more one-on-one time with instructors, we are offering private lessons during the social dances! We will release more information soon regarding pricing and scheduling.

If you're prefer more weekend time, we'll be offering more workshops in the future, such as fast dancing, aerials, line changes, etc. Follow our socials to keep up to date on all of our future events!

And lastly, we are starting Lindy Lab - a safe space to creatively collaborate on dancing through constructive feedback, trying new ideas, and experimenting with connection. This will be the in place of the Intermediate lesson at the end of each month!

With all of the new, we will have to say goodbye to some of the old, including the end of LindyLand and no longer offering free admission at the first of every month. So come dancing as much as you can to receive your FREE prizes like tshirts and tote bags! All remaining merchandise after the end of LindyLand will be available for purchase at a reduced rate.
