For this Member Monday, we wanted to spotlight our very own, Lyssa Petru!! Lyssa exemplifies our pillar, service, so well and we are so proud of all she does!! Here is a little about what this opportunity meant to her:

Neema Village is a mom and baby rescue home, it’s a place of hope and refuge for mothers trying to get a better life and children reaching out to be loved. The Lords hand is ever so present and his love for each of his children is shown so sweetly through the laughter, love, and joy at Neema.

Neema will always hold a special place in my heart by getting to be a piece of spreading the Lords love at Neema is nothing short of a blessing. TYJ for Neema! 🤍🤍

Introducing our President, Sarah Madla! 💜

Sarah is a Senior Psychology Major from San Antonio, Texas. This will be her third year in Royals!

Sarah’s “Why Royals”: From the moment I joined Royals, every girl has always made me feel at home!! This organization has given me my lifelong best friends, my biggest supporters, and the best college memories!! I’m beyond grateful to have such amazing friends in my life!!!

Sarah’s favorite Royals memory: My favorite memory is our annual Sing for Soldiers! It’s always so much fun getting to sing karaoke alongside my best friends and support our soldiers at the same time!! Best night of the year!!

Introducing our Recruitment Officer, Sophia Tucker! 💜

Sophia is a Junior Kinesiology Major from Benbrook, Texas. This will be her third year in Royals!

Sophia’s “Why Royals”: Coming into A&M, I was searching for a place I could call home! Aggie Royals gave me just that. I have found lifelong friends that are there for me in every step of my college journey! I love Royals because it is truly the place for the most genuine and sweet friendships. Royals could not be more perfect! I’m so excited to serve as Recruitment Officer for this school year in hopes of playing just a small part of giving so many girls the same incredible experience Royals has given me!

Sophia’s favorite Royals memory: My favorite Royals memory is Big Little! It was truly the most perfect time to get to know the girls in Royals deeper, while finding my perfect littles in the process! My littles are truly some of my best friends, and I have loved every part of my fam that Royals has given me! Big Little taught me so much about myself and others, and grew my love for Royals even more!!!

Lyssa is a Senior Ag Leadership and Development Major from Liberty Hill, Texas. This will be her third year in Royals!

Lyssa’s “Why Royals”: Royals was an organization that caught my eye from the start. I love the girls and the community it brought at such a big university! Royals has brought me so many friendships, and memories I will take with me forever that I am so grateful for! I became an officer because I wanted to take a bigger role in helping the org in a different way and I have loved every second of it! I am so thankful for Royals and all the blessings it has come with! I truly found my people in so many different ways!

Lyssa’s favorite Royals memory: My favorite Royals memory is Sing for Soldiers! I absolutely love our philanthropy and getting to support those so work so hard to protect our country! I love to sing songs and raise money for our military and their families! It is the most fun night in the spring and something I look forward to every February! I love our soldiers and getting to play a small part in supporting them for everything they do for us is truly a blessing!! ❤️

Caitlyn’s “Why Royals”: These girls have truly made my college experience something I know I will treasure forever!! Gaining my best friends through Royals has been such a beautiful thing and only want this to grow! As sisterhood chair, I want to provide the opportunities for these girls to meet their forever best friends like I have! 😇💕

Caitlyn’s favorite Royals memory: My favorite Royals memory was NMC! I just ran around and took pics with all my new besties!! Enjoyed a good hot dog and danced the night away! 😗🕺

Kobie’s “Why Royals”: Royals has truly made my college experience better than anything I could’ve ever hoped it would be. My “why” behind being an officer is the opportunity to pour hard work and service back into such a fulfilling organization! Our philanthropy means so much to me and I am so excited to spread the joy of serving our soldiers through fun events and of course Sing for Soldiers!!! Let’s do this thing!!! 💃🎤🇺🇸
