There are people who make a difference without ever asking for recognition. ❤️
If you’ve ever been to Cornerstone, chances are you’ve been impacted by Consuelo without even realizing it.
Since the day Cornerstone opened in 1997, Consuelo has been the heart behind our kitchen. For nearly 30 years, she’s shown up every day with humility, strength, and an incredible work ethic. She took the bus to work, worked tirelessly behind the scenes as a prep cook, dishwasher, and helping hand wherever she was needed. She never asked for anything and always put others before herself.
Today, Consuelo is facing the toughest fight of her life after being diagnosed with Stage 3 cervical cancer. After surgery and having chemo ports implanted, she is now preparing to begin chemotherapy.
For the first time, we’re asking our Cornerstone family and community to show up for her the way she’s shown up for all of us.
If you’re able, please consider making a donation. Every dollar will help ease the burden of rent, groceries, and essential living expenses so Consuelo can focus on what matters most—healing.
If you can’t donate, please share this post and keep Consuelo in your thoughts and prayers.
Let’s remind her that she doesn’t have to fight this battle alone.
❤️ Donate. Share. Pray.
