It’s RACEDAY!!!!

Well we have made it to the end of another great season of racing at the Thomas County Speedway!! It’s the Jeff Hartwell Memorial.

Please note that we are starting earlier than normal!!
We will have no north pit area so please park tight in the east pit area!!! We will fill it up first and will put open trailers in the infield if need be!!! Please PARK TIGHT!!!!!!
Drivers meeting 6:30pm
Hot laps 7:00pm
Stockcar make up feature 7:30pm!!!!

Running order will be:
Hobby stocks
Sport mods
Stockcar
Modifides

All night!!!!!

We will be throwing frisbees, shirts and some other giveaways in the stands throughout the show!!!

Thank you to everyone for your support!! It will be tough walking away from promoting but my family comes first. Let’s have a great night of racing and pack the stands!!!!!

I want to give a huge shout out to Sheldon Wickwar and the guys at IMCA TV!!!! The Jeff Hartwell memorial/ fair race will be live on IMCA TV this Friday night!!!! If you can’t make it to the races then watch it from home!!!!!! Going to be a great show!!!!!!

Good morning! It’s fair week here in Thomas county and that means Friday night is our last race of the 2026 season and the last race for me as a promoter.
In my last post I mentioned that we will not have the north pit area so please park tight in the east pits and if you don’t have a paid spot and have an open trailer you will have to go to the infield. Please work with me on this last race of 2026.

Good afternoon everyone. July 31 is our fair race/ Jeff Hartwell memorial, hot laps will be at 7pm central time with racing at 7:30. We will start the show with where we left off on July 9th with the stockcar feature then the modified make up feature then we will roll into our fair race program.

We WILL NOT have a north pit area for this show so I am asking for all open trailers to park in the infield for this one race!!! I will need everyone in the main pit area to park tight so we have enough room.

If you have a Jeff Hartwell shirt I am asking you to please wear it for this race! If you have a ford racing shirt please wear it!

I am looking forward to our last race and I hope I can put on another great night of racing. I hope the stands are packed and everyone comes out and supports the fair and the racetrack.

Good evening so update on the Jeff Hartwell memorial / Fair race on July 31st.

There is no buy ins for the makeup stockcar feature from July 9th, however the modifides can buy in for an extra pit pass. Letting them buy in helps us pay the purse for this rained out show. They will fill in behind the field that has already qualified from July 9th. It is a B&B all star invitational for mods and stocks.

For the Jeff Hartwell memorial / fair race:

We will hot lap at 7pm ct!!!
Races will start at 7:30pm ct
Ga opens at 530pm
Pit gate opens at 4pm

GA admission is $15
Pit passes are $35

This will be my last race as the promoter. To clear up any roomers this was my decision and there’s multiple reasons why I have chose to walk away from being a promoter. I enjoyed doing it and I don’t know what the future holds for the racetrack.

Please no negative comments, I’ve worked my butt off keeping the track goin and it’s a very time consuming job. V

Well good morning everyone,

So looking at July 31 the Jeff Hartwell memorial/Fair race, we will pickup where we left off during the stock car feature on 7-9.we have 7/15 laps complete.NO BUY IN’s because the feature is already in progress. Modified feature will be made up after the stock car feature!!! The field is set and ready so NO BUY ins on that as well.

So the Jeff Hartwell memorial/Fair race:

I am working on the specifics for it, I will post them when I get it all ironed out.
