When recovering a bar box, getting access to the bed cloth can be a challenge.

Instead of completely removing the slate, I use a custom setup that
lets me safely lift it just enough to slide support blocks underneath.

Less disassembly.

More efficiency.

A quality recover starts long before the new cloth goes on.

Every pocket, rail, bolt, and piece of hardware needs to be removed carefully and methodically.

Rushing the teardown can lead to damaged parts, missed issues, and extra headaches during reassembly.

In this case, the corner pocket is coming off so the rails can be properly stripped, inspected, and recovered.

The finished product gets all the attention, but the teardown is where professional results really begin. 🎯
