The time has come to close the cider house, and our final day of business will be this Friday.

It’s been a lot of fun over the years. Full of great people, good stories, and a whole lot of heart. I wish I could keep it going, but life has changed, and I no longer have it in me to run it the way it deserves.

To my staff over the years: thank you for showing up, adapting, and bringing real personality to this space.
To our customers: thank you for your support, your loyalty, and for making this feel like more than just a business.

I’m proud of what we built here, and I’m grateful to everyone who helped make it what it was.

With heavy hearts, we share that John, husband of Jill, our shop’s owner was one of the firefighters killed in Sunday’s ambush on Canfield Mountain.
You might’ve met him over the years, the tall guy with the mustache who’d step in behind the bar now and then, always ready with a smile, and chatting up everyone who came through our doors.
John wasn’t just part of our lives, he helped build this place, literally. The bar you sit at, he built it. The patio out back where you sip in the sun, he built that too. The tables you gather around with friends are his work. His fingerprints are everywhere, and his absence will be greatly missed.
We want to thank the community, friends, and family for your support.
Your love and kindness means more than you know.
We’ll be back open today. Please be extra kind and patient with the staff this weekend. We’re all carrying heavy hearts, but we’re holding each other up the best we can. Come by, share a cider and say hi, we’d love to see you
