Registration is now open for the 17th annual Asti Tour de Vine Bike Ride Saturday, October 11, 2025, through the beautiful fall colors of Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys in Northern Sonoma County. There are rides for all! Select the 25k, 50k, 100k or grueling 100 mile Rockpile Rumble. Rest Stops feature snacks prepared by local organizations like the Garden Club and Education Foundations. Then join your friends and fellow cyclists at the finish for a tasty Barbeque prepared by the the Cloverdale Rotary Club. Registration is limited so sign up now at www.astitourdevine.com

Safety is Number One at Cloverdale Rotary events and this year for the Asti Tour de Vine bike ride we were joined by members of the Sonoma County Radio Amateurs. They set up transmission points at rest stops and had several vehicles patrolling the course. THANK YOU, Thank You! With some drizzle and occasional shower near 400 riders left the start of the 16th annual Asti Tour de Vine bike ride sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cloverdale. The claim to tastiest ride in Sonoma County is solid. At registration some riders were sharing their memories of favorite rest (food) stops. Meatballs or Breakfast anyone? Registration for October 11, 2025 is expected to open in May of 2025.

The 16th annual Asti Tour de Vine Bike Ride, sponsored by Cloverdale Rotary is in the books. Its reputation as the tastiest ride in wine country remains. Rotarians and others were busy preparing food for the riders earlier in the week.

The Cloverdale Rotary Club turned out to staff a Rest Stop with a Mardi Gras theme at the bike ride managed by the Sunrise Club in nearby Healdsburg. Beignets from Preston Addison were on the menu along with deviled eggs by Tiffany March Kinsey, spiced nuts from Jimmy D (Martini) coffee from Bill and Lynn Hoyer. The Cloverdale Rotary Club presents the 16th Asti Tour de Vine bike ride on October 12 and registration is now open at astitourdevine.com

Kevin Kostoff is the two-time past President of the Rotary Club of Cloverdale. He led the 2023 and 2022 editions of the popular Asti Tour de Vine bike ride through the gorgeous fall colors of Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys. He also will chair the 2024 edition on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Registration for the 2024 ride is expected to open about May 1. For his tireless efforts of embodying Rotary International's motto of "Service Above Self," Kostoff was given special recognition from the club by President Robert Redner.

The Cloverdale Rotary Club annual Asti Tour de Vine bike ride through the beautiful Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys is the club's major fund raiser. A ride, not a race, is known for delicious and often homemade food at the rest stops. Local non-profits staff the rest stops and share food with the riders. Today, some of the groups gathered at Rotary's weekly meeting and each were presented with checks for $2,000 to help them meet their goals.

The start/finish for the Asti Tour de Vine bike ride is on the patio at the historic Asti Winery; once one of the top five tourist attractions in California and currently not open to the public. Pulled pork sliders and more were served at the finish.
