Happy Birthday Navy! ⚓️🇺🇸

10/13/2026

It's that time of year again! 🎃👻Join us for our annual Alger Cemetery walk in partnership with West Park Historical Society on Wednesday, October 14th at 6 p.m!

We will meet in the Kamm's Corners Farmers Market parking lot (16906 Albers Ave) and walk over to the cemetery as a group.

This will be our last Alger Cemetery walk for the foreseeable future. Our gracious host Ross Bassett has decided to step back from leading the walk. We encourage you to come and thank Ross for being such a lively storyteller these past few years.

In the event of heavy rain, the walk will be held on October 21st instead. Check back here for updates.

Happy spooky season, West Park! 🦇

Today we had a wonderful visit by a great past commander. Bill Holland, commanded our post for a total of 8 years. Bill has been in hospice and the VA gave him a day of reprieve. Sharing old memories with his friends, he really amazed us with his spirit. Great to see our friend, a great American and Vietnam Veteran!
