Thank you to all of you who have generously donated so far to this charitable cause for Patricia Hanych's retirement. We have now, because of your support and love, surpassed our goal of $5000!!

Pat racked up roughly $6000 in costs to keep Pat's liquor license active during the pandemic so at least we put a dent in this for her. Hello Everyone,

This page as a way to pay tribute to Patricia Hanych (Pat) of the legendary Pat in the Flats. Pat has done so much for all of us over the years. She has given us a place to spread our creative wings and to explore all that we could be as musicians and artists. She has always done so with honesty, integrity and mutual respect. It is sad that Pat’s in The Flats is no more, and that it kind of puttered out and I feel it is important to send her message of how much she has meant to us, how the venue has impacted us and to show her how much we truly love her.

*This is what I am proposing: I am charging everyone with the creative task of making a short video with a personal message/thank you to Pat along with what she and venue have meant to you and to maybe play a couple songs and upload the video to a YouTube or Vimeo page, creating a link, then posting it to the GoFundMe page here. If you are a patron and not a musician and want to just give her a grateful shout out or personal dedication, this is gratefully encouraged as well.

Pat is retiring from the music biz, I thought it would be nice to give her a little financial kick to help her feel secure in the next stage of her journey. The GoFundMe page is where the videos will be posted in order to drive traffic here and possibly raise some money for her ‘retirement’ and to give her a little bit of a cushion.
I have talked to Pat about this and this and she will receive all of the proceeds from this. She isn’t asking for anyone to do this as she is not one for charity and that's why I took it upon myself because I felt it would be a kind gesture.

Make the video when you are ready and post the link to the GoFundMe page below. I only ask that we post the links primarily on her GoFundMe page to begin with so that we are driving traffic there and giving people, an excuse to go on there. Remember this is about Pat not about promoting your music, there are plenty of other platforms for this. W also encourage you to share your live footage of playing there over the years on the Pat's in the Flats page as well as on the GoFunMe page.
