Grandpa Geuze’s Cheese Plate for tomorrow’s tapping of Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze. This Moody Blue is smoked over fruitwood and absolutely delicious. Very mild, honestly I don’t think you’d realize it’s a blue cheese if that’s not your thing.

Lambik tapping - A Tribute to Armand. This friday at 4pm we are honored to have been chosen to tap a very special keg of Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen Oude Lambik.

In celebration of what would have been Armand Debelder’s 75th birthday, the late founder of Drie Fonteinen and the “Grandfather of Geuze”, the brewery has released a special batch of lambik brewed with 100% Pajattonland wheat and barley, and aged in an oak foeder. This foeder was gifted to Armand on his 68th birthday and has a hand-carved image of Armand with his father, Gaston, another legendary Geuze blender. Filled in 2019, this was the last time Armand was able to be present at the brewery.

Along with the Oude Geuze draft, we will also have 3 Fonteinen bottles of ’23 Kriek, ’24 Cuvée Armand & Gaston, and ’24 Geuze. This is a really exceptional tapping celebrating the life of a b**r legend. It’s the only keg available in Ohio and we hope to share it with you!

Ok, this is a cool one. Epochal Barrel Fermented Ales Stock L***r from Scotland. First, this brewery looks awesome. Apologies, I was unfamiliar with their game. Second, they unfortunately went out of business last year. They were running one of the last Burton Union systems in their taproom, but I digress.

Their Stock L***r is rich with Scottish tradition. Look up head brewer and owner Gareth Young’s article in Craft B**r & Brewing . It dispels everything you thought you knew about traditional Scottish b**r. Pale, dry hopped, and oak-aged with brettanomyces. It’s like a pale Orval with more of a tannic finish. Hope I don’t make people angry with that take. Anyway, come and try it. I’d imagine there’s not a lot of it left out there.

Kwak is back! This Belgian amber has made the news recently for discontinuing their iconic coach glass. Maybe a practical decision, but let’s be honest, a highly disappointing one! The coach glass was originally created in the 1790s to hang from the side of stagecoaches. The tall design with a bulbous bottom was designed to prevent spills by holding most of the liquid in the lower bowl. At the time, Napoleonic code prevented stagecoach drivers from leaving their coach to enter an inn for a drink.

You can leave the horses outside when you visit, and we ask that you leave the glass in its wooden holder and treat it with care. These glasses are quite rare and you wouldn’t be the first to set it down, forgetting there isn’t a flat bottom… Caramel, ripe banana, English biscuit, mellow marmalade, and a light hop finish. Come enjoy a classic the way it was meant to be served!
