Effective immediately, Red Pony Saloon will be closed Sunday through Tuesday.

This decision comes after an extremely disrespectful interaction with a customer yesterday. I was told that I “shouldn’t be in the bar industry” over a disagreement involving pull tabs.

Let me be clear: gambling is always a risk. You choose whether to continue playing, and neither I nor my bartenders are responsible for the outcome of that decision.

It is also incredibly disrespectful to repeatedly light a cigarette inside my bar before walking outside. Smoking inside bars is prohibited by law and will not be tolerated.

I have poured my heart and soul into the Pony, often putting time with my family on the back burner to create events, support our community, and provide a place where people can come together. I am truly grateful for every customer who has recognized those efforts and thanked us for what we bring to the community.

However, my bartenders and I will no longer tolerate disrespect, inappropriate behavior, or sexual harassment. Anyone who behaves that way will be asked to leave.

Going forward, the Pony will be open Wednesday through Saturday. If you have an event you would like us to open for on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday, please reach out and ask.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Red Pony Saloon and treats our staff and establishment with respect.

This weekend was a busy one! Thank you to everyone that came out to the roll-in/2 year anniversary weekend! I can’t thank my team of bartenders enough! I honestly didn’t expect it to be as busy as it was, you guys are awesome! Congratulations to our winners!
