As a business owner and especially one in the restaurant and hospitality business you develop an acute sense for feeling a room based on guest body language, interaction and facial expressions. Some friends and I were at and Fortify last night to chow down and enjoy company and the Rum Bar libations and we had an eclectic age group at the table spanning decades in age difference, a very broad spectrum. First thing we noticed is the TV’s were off as the band played so I asked a team member why. Her response was the band asked for no TV while playing. Now mind you they were in between songs when we walked in so I had not heard anything yet.. Folks let me tell you the moment they started the next song I could see the talent, hear the smooth sound and could literally see these three gents feeling the music coming from their souls. I immediately got it about the TV’s and I respect it at a unique level and guys I just want to tell you from ages in the 40’s to the mid 70’s our table of 8 could feel the music. AJ great booking decision and Scott and friends thanks for giving our little table and everyone in what was a packed house an evening to remember. I felt the room last night and damn did I like what I saw!! You looked right at home on that stage and we will see you up there again soon! 🙌🏼
