Man, this one hurts. We are absolutely heartbroken over the news of losing Peter McIntosh today. He was not only a regular from day one, but also such a good friend to everyone here. He was truly part of our UJ family.
He was the unofficial official President of the Bicycle Club. He was a proud founding member of this club, and made sure to recruit members every single year. Last year we were able to donate 28 bikes to kids in need, all thanks to PMac. He also loved to be “Santa’s helper” to anyone who needed a helping hand around the holidays. But would never ever take credit, made us swear we didn’t know who did it.
He made most all of our event posters since we opened the doors 15 years ago. New Year’s Eve, Halloween, Super Bowl, St Patty’s day, anything that needed celebrated, he made us the poster for it. And you better believe he reminded us of any and all events coming up.
Most everyone has seen our UJ shirts, they wouldn’t be the same without Peter, as he took the amazing photo that’s on the back. Along with the picture on our menu. We will forever be grateful to have those.
Peter always had a story to tell. We all loved to sit and chat with him. He lived a life full of adventure. And he has the photos to prove it.
Peter, P Mac, Peter Mac, Mr. President, we were not ready for you to have your last beer here, but we know their was a cold one ready for you when you made it to the afterlife. Rest easy friend. I can only imagine the view is way better than your fabulous porch. Hope you take lots of pictures.
