We have a super great band coming through tonight. No cover.
Shadow Basket is coming over from the other side of our great state. Super groovy indie rock. An incredibly talented rock quartet. We'll be lucky to have them and you'll be lucky to have seen them.

It's Monday. Soup time. A simple, healthy vegetable soup. Onions, carrots, celery, bell peppers, cabbage, yellow squash, and legumes, chickpea, cannellini and kidney in vegetable stock.

Our weekend special is a...Vermicelli rice noodle salad with lemongrass chicken. Bún gà nướng sả.

Marinated and grilled chicken thighs on a bed of rice noodles, romaine and spring mix, cucumber, sprouts pickled daikon and carrot, fresh mint, basil and cilantro, fried shallots, crushed peanuts, scallions and nuoc cham(lime juice, fish sauce, chilies). A great dish anytime, but it really hits when the weather is as hot as it is.

Easy, simple lamb and lentil soup. Based on the Shorbat Lahmeh from Lebanon. It's like 4 ingredients and some seasoning. Delicious. Ground lamb meatballs, with onion, tomato and lentils. With garlic, seven spice, bay leaves, cardamom and extra cinnamon.

Kefta Lamb Burger. Seasoned and ground lamb. Served on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato and onions pickled in lemon juice. Topped with hot honey goat cheese.

It's Monday so it's time for some soup here at Hogan's. Today I chose an easy, healthy and colorful vegetable soup with beef. Stewed beef with onions, celery, carrots, tomatoes, yellow squash, cabbage, and fresh parsley. Finished with shaved Parmesan.
