🎬FIRST FILM ANNOUNCEMENT

We’re proud to announce that Red Clay will be featured as part of the AINT film programming this Friday at New Roxy.

Executive Produced and Co-Written by Grammy Award-winning artist 2 Chainz and actor/writer Omar Epps, Red Clay tells the story of Nook, a young man coming of age in early-2000s Atlanta while navigating family hardship, survival, and the pursuit of something greater. Inspired by 2 Chainz’s own life journey, the film explores themes of sacrifice, resilience, and ambition.

Set against the backdrop of a changing Atlanta, Red Clay is a powerful story about the choices that shape who we become and the communities that shape us.

StoryWorks Theater is doing great things in Clarksdale!
Can’t wait to attend this event after the Sinners screening tomorrow.

Kicking off Thursday’s events, StoryWorks’ Editorial Director Aallyah Wright and Capital B’s rural issues reporter, will moderate a Q&A session with director Ryan Coogler, actor Miles Caton (“Sammie”), and executive producer/composer Ludwig Göransson immediately after the 11:00 am screening at Clarksdale Civic Auditorium.

On Friday at 12pm, Layla Young, our Associate Artistic Director, will be on the panel, “Mississippi’s Film Future: Attracting Studios + Building Workforce” at the Delta Blues Museum - Clarksdale, Mississippi.
