YALL! I know I don’t have to explain myself but I want to be transparent for those of you still wondering, questioning, or upset. PLEASE stop saying you’re “sorry” for my bar closing. It’s NOT a sad thing for me! It’s a relief in many ways (besides leaving my employees behind😪) I stayed open this long ONLY due to THEM & YOU ALL! I know to some of you this sounds insensitive but I just mean in general, weighing my pros and cons out have led me here.

There is absolutely NO profit margin in beer and wine so I put a ton into this business to NEVER get even a portion of it back, I’ve moved 4 hours away, I DON’T own the building and rent is expensive, I couldn’t find steady staffing for my food truck until NOW after all the hard work and a year of having it permitted and paying the commissary rent, & LOTS LOTS more! ALL of this has factored into this decision.

As I told someone the other day…I AM TRULY THANKFUL TO BE AN ENTREPRENEUR AND NOT HAVE ALL MY EGGS IN ONE BASKET! Some people will never own 1 business and I’ve owned MANY at the age of 35 😳 So AGAIN, I’ll be okay yall! I still have PLENTY to keep me busy! I have enjoyed & loved every minute of being with yall and making new family/friends! I KNOW those of you who are close to my mom and I will still keep in touch!

PLEASE GO SUPPORT YOUR OTHER LOCAL BUSINESSES & BARS LIKE YOU DID MINE, even if it’s not your cup of tea! Give it a try sometime to say you did! You may be surprised at which place becomes your next FAVORITE 🙂
